How long does it take to open a live account
Once you complete the registration process and provide us with the required supporting documents (proof of identity and address) we should contact you within 48 hours. What is a certified copy?
A certified copy is a copy of an original document where an independent source like a notary public, bank manager or a lawyer adds his signature, name and address on the copy after mentioning 'Certified as a true copy'. One purpose of certification is to prevent impersonation fraud.
Is there a possibility that you accept a copy of my passport without certification?
In some cases, we can accept a machine-readable passport without certification. We shall advise you if a certification is still needed.
Why do you need to know about my investment knowledge and trading experience?
It is a requirement under European and Cyprus directives to profile our clients and categorise them for protection eligibility and enhanced account information.
Is it acceptable to open a joint account?
Yes, the second (and only) account co-holder shall complete the same registration process as the first account holder.
How can I fund and withdraw money from my account?
You have the choice between a bank wire (or transfer), debit/credit cards and electronic money. You simply click on 'Payment Methods' button to select a payment mode. Falcon Brokers Ltd does not apply any charges or commission on deposits made to the account. Withdrawal from the free margin is effected by simply clicking on 'Account Forms' button, download 'Withdrawal from Account' form, complete withdrawal details, sign it and send it to us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Again, no commissions are charged by Falcon Brokers.
Are my funds safe with Falcon Brokers?
Falcon Brokers Ltd is an investment firm licensed and regulated by Cyprus Securities Exchange commission and complies with strict European directives (MiFID). Clients' funds are maintained in world-class banks and segregated from the firm's accounts. Retail clients have an additional protection through the participation of Falcon Brokers in the Investor Protection Fund.
